A subcutaneous layer of fat is different from other layers, because it contains pockets surrounded by tissue. One of the causes of cellulite is the different hormones, and metabolic activity of the body. Folliculine and estrogen are among the hormones that can cause cellulite to form. Commonly, cellulite can be seen during a hormonal period among women, these periods include pregnancy, puberty, and menopause. It is known that women’s blood flow, connective tissue, and fat are regulated by their hormones.

Ultimately, a person’s exercise, diet, healthy lifestyle, and their natural biological make-up is responsible for the formation of cellulite. The layers of skin do not determine the formation of cellulite on any body. The main cause of the formation of cellulite is the physiological development and changes that happen in the subcutaneous layer of fat. Even with a strict diet and regular exercise routine, cellulite may not always be avoided. Still, the lack of a healthy lifestyle will not help the physical appearance.

Due to age, there can be a significant decrease in the thickness of the tissues in the fat layer in the skin. Hence, limp cellulite is the result. Nowadays, many health product companies have claimed to cure cellulite. However, it is important to note that not everyone’s claims are true. Some of these products are simply the result of a combination of topical ingredients or treatments that ultimately are unlikely to cure cellulite.

Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant ingredients are components of products that can be effective in eliminating cellulite. Skin areas which have cellulite are commonly arid and broken. The basic way to remedy the condition is to apply more moisture to the area with cellulite. An important thing to remember is that cellulite is a condition that affects both the inside and outside of the skin, therefore any treatment would have to affect both the inside and outside as well.
